The Norwood Life Society Thrift Shop is a boutique resale shop in Chicago's Norwood Park community. We carry a rolling selection of gently and never used housewares, clothing, accessories, jewelry, collectibles, art work, books, and much more.
The shop is staffed completely by volunteers! Our volunteer’s commitment, energy, and creativity make our Thrift Shop the nicest resale shop on the Northwest Side. Always curating quality goods at unbeatable prices. Would you like to become a volunteer at the Thrift Shop? Click here!
Norwood Life Society is a family of non-profit 501(c3) organizations dedicated to enhancing the independence and well-being of older adults. Originally founded as part of the neighborhood's Women's Service League, the Shop donates 100% of its proceeds to Norwood Crossing, Norwood Seniors Network, and our volunteer program norVOLution.

With your help we can continue to help Reshape Aging® in our community and beyond!
Donations from caring, generous supporters are the lifeblood of our Thrift Shop. In-kind, gently-used items are inventoried and then resold to members of the community looking for a great deal! The Norwood Life Society Thrift Shop graciously accepts donations of most household goods and adult clothing. Our only request is that items be in full working order, clean, and usable (no stains, rips, chips, etc.). Donations are accepted during store hours: Monday – Saturday 10 am to 3 pm and Thursdays 10 am to 7 pm. Bring them to our side door in the alley - just ring the bell and let us know you're there!
