The Norwood Life Society Thrift Shop is a boutique resale shop in Chicago's Norwood Park community. We carry a rolling selection of gently and never used housewares, clothing, accessories, jewelry, collectibles, art work, books, and much more.

Norwood Life Society is a family of non-profit 501(c3) organizations dedicated to enhancing the independence and well-being of older adults. Originally founded as part of the neighborhood's Women's Service League, the Shop donates 100% of its proceeds to Norwood Crossing, Norwood Seniors Network, and our volunteer program norVOLution. 

Every purchase supports:

• Life Enrichment Activities like Bingo and Open Art Studio to enrich the lives of residents at Norwood Crossing.

• Our Home Delivered Meals program that provides freshly made meals and wellness checks to homebound seniors served by Norwood Seniors Network. 



• Our robust volunteer program, norVOLution, aimed at providing more services to our senior clientele, enhancing the lives of our volunteers, and to be of service to the broader community.
